Flora Stone Mather Center for Women faculty discussion to cover burnout, resiliency

Are you “Overworked and Overwrought?” When overwork is routine, it may be hard to realize levels of personal depletion.  A lack of time for self-reflection can lead to a loss of perspective and meaning in our lives.

Join faculty colleagues for a brown-bag discussion of burnout and resiliency, setting limits and boundaries, the role of creativity, and emotional and spiritual depletion.

The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 7, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women living room on the second floor of the Tinkham Veale University Center. Dessert and beverages provided.

The discussion will be facilitated by Julie Exline, professor of psychology; Karen Horowitz, associate professor of medicine; Lynda Montgomery, associate professor of medicine; and Susan Stagno, associate professor of psychiatry.

RSVP online. The event is sponsored by the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women.
