Meet with Congresswoman Shontel Brown and former Sen. Nina Turner, the Democratic candidates for Ohio’s 11th Congressional District, Sunday, April 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Linsalata Alumni Center.
The discussion, titled “Congressional Townhall: The State of the Youth in Cleveland,” will be issue-focused, specifically highlighting the issue of Cleveland’s digital divide and how it impacts Cleveland students. This will not be a debate, but rather a conversation between the city’s youth and its potential leadership.
Each candidate will have a section of time (around an hour) to answer questions from the youth and state their position on the digital divide, which will be followed by a Q&A session.
This event is sponsored by Case Western Reserve’s University Media Board.
