Do you want to know what career options would be available to you with a PhD?
Attend a PhD careers conference Friday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center.
Attendees will learn about various career paths, both inside and outside of academia. Panelists will share their knowledge and experiences about their career paths and chosen careers. This conference is open to postdocs and students (both PhD and master’s) across all disciplines.
Peter S. Fiske will deliver the keynote address “Put Your PhD to WORK!” and hold a lunchtime workshop on transferable skills. Fiske is a successful entrepreneur, tech industry CEO, and internationally recognized author and lecturer on the subject of careers and career development for PhDs.
The conference is free for CWRU postdocs, students and staff/faculty.
A conference fee of $20 will be charged for all other participants (non-CWRU).
