Valerie Young, author of Secret Thoughts of Successful Women, will host three workshops on campus to help women overcome “impostor syndrome.”
Young will offer a plan to overcome the self-doubt that keeps many women from feeling as intelligent and competent as they are.
The following sessions will be held:
- For the women faculty of the School of Medicine, FLEX members and guests: Tuesday, April 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom A. Register online.
- For all faculty and staff: Wednesday, April 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom A. Register online.
- For graduate and professional students and Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable: Wednesday, April 13, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom A. Register online.
The first 15 attendees at each session will receive a copy of Young’s book.
