The Professional Development Center (PDC) aims to provide Case Western Reserve University employees with comprehensive, high-quality learning and development resources that advance the performance of the individual and the university. The center’s staff is available to support staff members in achieving their professional development goals.
The PDC offers one-on-one career development consultations for staff.
Career development sessions are private, one-on-one meetings in which staff members are able to discuss a variety of professional related topics, including how to have difficult conversations, how to approach performance review meetings for staff or supervisors, getting your resume up to date, and more. One-on-one sessions also are a good place to follow up on specific scenarios or situations related to large group training session topics, such as time management or emotional intelligence. Put simply, the career development sessions are a private space to talk about work-related development or needs.
