All members of the campus community are invited to join the CWRU Film Society for a film showing of The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) Saturday, March 19. Showtimes will be at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium.
The film showing has been co-sponsored by The Observer, the weekly campus newspaper of Case Western Reserve University. Members of the newspaper will receive free admission.
Synopsis
The Grand Budapest Hotel recounts the adventures of M. Gustave, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune—all against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing continent.
