Buckle up for a classic Disney animated movie from the early 2000s, which critics called an “outrageous and unprecedented fun” and “a buddy comedy that works on all levels.” The Emperor’s New Groove will hit the big screen at Strosacker Auditorium Friday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. Members of the community are invited to join the CWRU Film Society for the showing.

Film synopsis
Kuzco is the bratty, narcissistic ruler of an ancient South American empire, and he has an attitude problem. After he fires his devious advisor Yzma, she transforms him into a llama, following a botched attempt at killing him. Soon, Kuzco must turn to a local farmer to help him become human again.
