From the creators of the beloved stop-motion series Wallace & Gromit and based on the classic war film The Great Escape is the whimsical comedy full of Rube-Goldberg-esque machines and hijinks: Chicken Run.
The film will hit the big screen at Strosacker Auditorium Friday, March 5, at 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. The showing is open only to active CWRU ID members. Register on CampusGroups to reserve a ticket.
This week only, individuals can register their tickets for the CWRU Film Society’s escape-themed Friday and Saturday showings for only $6. Saturday’s showing will be The Great Escape (1963).
Chicken Run synopsis
Ginger is the leader of a group of hens at Tweedy’s chicken farm, all hoping to avoid the slaughterhouse. When Rocky, a flying chicken, turns up, he and his skills might be
just what the hens need to finally execute a breakout. Rocky and Ginger lead their fellow chickens in a great escape from the murderous humans and their farm of doom in this first full-length picture from the Aardman animation studio.
