The CWRU Film Society and The Observer will host screenings of Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) Friday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium. Screenings are open to all members of the Case Western Reserve University community and the general public.

Synopsis
When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California woman and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of similar monsters. On a desperate order from the president, this motley crew is called into action to save the world from imminent destruction by an alien mastermind.
