Fight waste and feed people with Food Recovery Network; training meeting to be held tonight

Food Recovery Network will hold a training session for new volunteers today (Feb. 22) at 6:30 p.m. in Thwing Center, Room 031.

Volunteers will help the organization fight waste and eliminate hunger by donating excess food from campus to various soup kitchens in the Cleveland area.

The group picks up food from Einstein Bros. Bagels, Panera Bread and campus dining locations managed by Bon Appetit Management Co. Each week they donate food and serve at St. Matthew’s.

A full general body meeting and showing of Not Really Expired will follow the training session at 7 p.m.
