Medical professionals interested in cardiac valve disease and development are invited to attend the fifth annual Mid-America Valve Conference , hosted by the School of Medicine, the Congenital Heart Collaborative, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals. The conference will take place Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building and Friday, Sept. 7, at the Global Center for Health Innovation (1 St. Clair Ave. NE).
Conference attendees will learn about the latest advances in cardiac valve research and treatment for valve disease, connect with colleagues, tour the new state-of-the-art Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Suite and have the chance to visit Cleveland museums at a discounted rate.
Registration for the fifth annual Mid-America Valve Conference is required and available online.
Call for abstracts
Individuals can submit abstracts on relevant research topics for the conference. Abstracts must be submitted by Monday, Aug. 20, to Michiko Watanabe at mx13@case.edu for an opportunity to present.
Abstracts may be awarded up to $500.
