Female graduate students invited to lunchtime discussion on body image, self-care

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women invites all female graduate students to a lunchtime discussion on body image, appearance and self-care concerns.

For many women, developing and maintaining a “healthy” body image is an everyday battle. Women in graduate school—with the added daily pressures and stress that come with pursuing a PhD—may be at an increased vulnerability for developing poor body image and an inability to participate in self-care.

Join the Women in Doctoral Studies lunchtime discussion on “Body Image, Self Care, & Appearance in Graduate School” on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, located in the Tinkham Veale University Center, suite 248.
