Student Affairs will host Family Weekend Sept. 23-25, featuring programs for families and students to bridge the gap between summer and fall break.
Family Weekend officially starts on Friday, Sept. 23, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. with President Barbara R. Snyder, but if families arrive early, they can attend some of the many open classes throughout the day. In the evening, don’t forget to take advantage of the CWRU Film Society’s three showings of Rango.
Other events throughout the weekend include an on-campus community service project; the CWRU Spirit Brunch at Leutner Commons with the Spartan, marching band, cheerleaders and dance team; an improv musical from Baby Wants Candy; and tours.
To see the full schedule of events and programs, see the Family Weekend website.
Family Weekend programs are open and free to students, regardless of whether or not family is on campus. Registration for families closes on Monday, Sept. 19, and costs $20 per family member.
