Fall seminar series on high performance computing starts today

Starting today, Information Technology Services will host biweekly seminars on introductory subjects pertaining to high performance computing. Each seminar will be held from 11 a.m. to noon in Crawford Hall, room 720. You do not need to be a high performance computing user to attend these interactive sessions and registration is not required. The dates and topics of each seminar include:

  • Sept. 10: Introduction to High Performance Computing
  • Sept. 24: Basic Linux
  • Oct. 8: Basic computer programming
  • Oct. 22: Hybrid programming using coprocessors
  • Nov. 5: Visualization
  • Nov. 19: Basic MATLAB usage and programming
