Learn how to safely conduct research during undergraduate seminar series

SOURCE and the Office of Research Administration will co-sponsor a new seminar series for undergraduates this year, titled “Responsible Conduct of Research for Undergraduates.” This series will include three seminars during the fall semester and three seminars during the spring semester.
Students who attend four of the six seminars will receive the Undergraduate Responsible Conduct of Research certificate.

The Fall 2012 Seminar Series will take place from noon to 12:50 p.m. in Sears Library Building, Room 670. Lunch is provided.

The Fall Seminars are:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 2: Communicate and Collaborate: Working with a research team
  • Tuesday, Nov. 6: Protect Yourself: Being safe in the laboratory
  • Tuesday, Dec. 4: Don’t Forget, That’s a Person: Performing research with human subjects
