Newman Catholic Campus Ministry will host its last fair-trade sale of the semester next week.
The sale will be held Friday, April 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Monday, May 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Nord Hall atrium.
The sale will give the university community the chance to stock up on coffee, tea and chocolate for finals and purchase a unique, handcrafted Mother’s Day gift.
Fair-trade guarantees that small farmers and artisans are paid a living wage. Proceeds benefit Catholic Relief Services, Inter Religious Task Force on Central America and the Newman Catholic Student Association’s East Cleveland Outreach Efforts.
