Faculty: What is critical thinking, and can it be taught? Find out in Jan. 31 UCITE session

One of the main goals of a university is to teach its students to think critically. But what exactly is meant by the term “critical thinking”? Posing that question to faculty members can result in a wide range of responses. But the term “critical thinking” can be interpreted in very specific ways that can influence the way we teach. The next UCITE session will deal with this topic.

The discussion will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room of the Allen Memorial Medical Library building, on the corner of Euclid Avenue and Adelbert Road.

Pizza and sodas will be provided at this session. RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
