Faculty: Sign up for a series on leadership development

The Asian Faculty Association, in association with Weatherhead School of Management, Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Faculty Development and Women Faculty Leadership Development Institute at Case Western Reserve University, will offer a series of five workshops on leadership development.

Held monthly from January to May, the sessions will cover a range of topics, such as cultural norms and awareness, emotional IQ, presentation skills, promotion, and power and conflict at work. 

All Case Western Reserve faculty members are welcome to participate. The workshops topics will be tailored to issues and concerns that pertain to Asian faculty.

All sessions will be held on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. 

The schedule will be as follows:

  • Jan. 18: “Career and Leadership Visioning”
  • Feb. 8: “Exceptional Presentations”
  • March 7: “Cultural Differences”
  • April 11: “Emotional Intelligence”
  • May 16: “Skills and Strategies of the Academic Leader”

Individual coaching also will be included in the series.

The series is limited to 25 participants and the cost to register is $100 per participant.
