Fall convocation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 4:30 p.m. at Severance Hall. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in the academic procession and must register online by Aug. 26 to do so. When registering, please select either “Faculty Member” or “Distinguished University Professor from a prior year” at the bottom of the form.
Faculty members participating in the academic procession must be dressed in proper attire and are responsible for providing their own academic regalia or obtaining regalia from the university bookstore.
Faculty members who march in the academic procession do not require tickets. All other guests should reserve tickets online or through the Severance Hall box office at 216.231.1111.
The 2013 Distinguished University Professors will be honored during convocation, and Susan Cain, the Elaine G. Hadden Distinguished Visiting Author of the common reading selection, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking, will provide the keynote address.
