Faculty Panel on Online Learning

University Technology ([U]Tech) and the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) invite the campus community to engage with a panel of Case Western Reserve University faculty as they describe their experiences with online learning. The event will take place Monday, May 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom C. Faculty panelists will share their perspectives on developing courses and teaching in online learning environments.

Questions will be taken from the event registration form and answered by the panel. The discussion panel will be composed of the following faculty members:

  • Marc Buchner, associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science;
  • David Crampton, associate professor of social work;
  • Michael Goldberg, assistant professor of design and innovation;
  • Nicole Seiberlich, the Elmer Lincoln Lindseth Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering; and
  • Cheryl Thompson, associate professor of nutrition.

This panel will be moderated by Tina Oestreich, senior director of teaching and learning technologies, and Matthew Garrett, director of UCITE and associate professor of music education.

Lunch will be provided to those who register by Tuesday, April 30.
