Faculty members to discuss Nobel Prize accomplishments during Case Nobel Symposium

The annual Case Nobel Symposium will be held Feb. 9 at 4:15 p.m. in Rockefeller Hall 301. At this event, Case Western Reserve University faculty members will briefly describe the accomplishments of the 2011 science laureates. Speakers will be physics and astronomy professor Glenn Starkman, who will discuss the physics prize; pathology professor Man-Sun Sy, who will talk about the physiology or medicine prize; and University Professor and Kyocera Professor of Ceramics Arthur Heuer of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, who will talk about the chemistry prize. A reception will follow.
