Faculty members publish opinion article about conflict in Israel

Ted Steinberg, the Adeline Barry Davee Distinguished Professor of History and professor of law, and Douglas Kerr, professor emeritus of pediatrics, co-wrote an opinion piece titled “With the Middle East peace process ‘dead,’ now what?” for The Plain Dealer.

Their article covered conflict in Israel-Palestine and the belief by many that a two-state solution is no longer viable.

Steinberg and Kerr explained the impact of nonviolent resistance for justice and human rights and how the United States has gotten involved.
