Following new faculty orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 22, the Newcomers Committee will host a new faculty family picnic at Squire Valleevue Farm. The picnic, which is open to new and returning faculty and their families, will begin at 5 p.m. (rain or shine) in picnic area No. 6. Vegetarian options will be available.
Family and friends are invited to arrive early to explore the university farm. Members of the Newcomers Committee will be at the picnic area beginning at 3:30 p.m. to greet guests. Activities for children will take place, and free five-minute chair massages will be provided by 121 Fitness Center.
Directions to the farm can be found online and the location of picnic areas within the farm can be viewed at students.case.
