U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor recently recognized Anant Madabhushi, the Donnell Institute Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and Scott Bruder, adjunct professor of biomedical engineering, during her June 24 remarks to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Castor’s remarks recognized the Academy of Inventors’ 2020 Class of Fellows.
Madabhushi, also director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, tweeted about the experience of having his name appear in a U.S. congressional record, calling it “surreal.”
