Two Case Western Reserve University faculty members earned Smart Living Awards from Judson at University Circle. Now in its seventh year, the awards celebrate individuals of all ages dedicated to the dynamic atmosphere of University Circle. Volunteers are recognized in five categories: arts, education, healthcare, philanthropy and volunteerism.
Jerold S. Goldberg, dean of the School of Dental Medicine, and John A. Yankey, Leonard W. Mayo Professor Emeritus at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, were honored during an April 25 luncheon for their commitment to healthcare and education, respectively.
The organization also honored Mandel School alumna Geralyn Presti for her contributions to the arts and Weatherhead School of Management alumna Hermione Malone and vic gelb, a member of the Mandel School visiting committee since 1975 and the school’s commencement speaker this year, for their volunteer work.
