Faculty: Learn to help students cope with stress during next UCITE seminar

Join the next UCITE seminar March 22 for assistance on helping students cope with the stresses in their lives. Nell Davidson, director of University Health Services, will discuss the services UHS offers and give advice to faculty members on what to do if they sense students may have issues that require professional help.

In addition, Davidson will discuss a multiuniversity study she participated in on improving depression care on college campuses. Davidson will share some of the findings of that study as it pertains to the Case Western Reserve University campus. She also will explain work done at UHS, including suicide, injury, violence and non-communicable and infectious disease prevention.

The discussion will be held March 22 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room on the ground floor of the Allen Memorial Library Building.

Pizza lunch and sodas will be provided; RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
