Unexpected situations often occur in the classroom, and knowing how to handle these moments can be difficult.
In its upcoming session, UCITE will host a roundtable discussion about potential ways to handle unexpected moments in the classroom. Videotaped vignettes of these so-called “critical incidents” will be used as starting points for the conversation. Faculty members are urged to bring along their own “critical incident” stories to add to the discussion.
The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room of the Allen Memorial Library Building at the corner of Adelbert Road and Euclid Avenue.
A pizza lunch and sodas will be provided. To help estimate the amount to order, RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
