Faculty: Learn how to best use Google Apps at next UCITE session

The University Center for Innovation in Technology and Education (UCITE) will host an introduction to Information Technology Services (ITS) and Google Apps Thursday, Sept. 3, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room of the Allen Memorial Medical Library.

The Information & Learning Technologies group within ITS is responsible for many of the university-wide applications that are used to support classroom instruction, such as Blackboard Learn, Adobe Connect, iClickers and Google Apps.

Tina Oestrich, assistant director of faculty support and academic technology, and Mike Kenney, faculty support and academic technology leader, will give a presentation on ways to use the Google suite of products, including Docs, Sheets, Forms, Presentations, Drive and other components available through the university’s relationship with Google.
