The next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) session will focus on the services available through Educational Services for Students (ESS) to help students start the semester on the right track.
Each academic year, ESS offers all students the free ESSential Planners to organize their time and schedules. As the semester progresses, ESS also offers a variety of services to continuously support students as they navigate their way to academic success.
Members of ESS will discuss services offered, such as Study Group +1, courses in study skills, individual consultations, and spoken English tutoring and programs. In addition, representatives from Disability Resources will talk about how to connect students with their office, supporting the academic experience while working to ensure equal access to the academic environment for students with disabilities.
Elise Geither, associate director of Spoken English Language Programs, and Grace Clifford, associate director of Disability Resources, will lead the discussion.
This session will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Herrick Room (use Adelbert Road doors).
Pizza and sodas will be provided at this session. RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
