Faculty: Find out how library resources, staff can improve your teaching

There are numerous resources available to faculty at the Kelvin Smith Library, including some that specifically support teaching at the university, such as:

  • the opportunity to bring classes to the library to learn about specific research tools,
  • help with research/writing assignment design
  • a research guides platform.

During this week’s UCITE discussion, Kelvin Smith Library staff members Bill Claspy and Brian C. Gray will outline ways in which the library and its staff can help faculty in their classes and beyond, as well as listen to feedback from faculty on what the library can do to help them. They also will describe the library’s special collections.

The discussion will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Herrick Room of the Allen Memorial Medical Library building.

Pizza and sodas will be provided at the session. To help estimate the amount to order, RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
