Faculty members from basic science and clinical departments in the School of Medicine as well as other departments throughout the university are invited to apply for seed money to foster research in emerging and healthcare-associated infections. The Division of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, with funds from STERIS Corp., will award grants to investigators who intend to gather preliminary data to be used in seeking future independently funded awards. Up to four one-year grants, not to exceed $37,500 in direct costs each, will be awarded.
