The Case Western Reserve University Newcomers Committee invites all faculty members (new and not so new), families and friends to a cookout dinner Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 5 p.m. The cookout will take place—rain or shine—at a covered area on the grounds of the university’s Squire Valleevue Farm at Picnic Area No. 6. Vegetarian options will be available.
Guests are invited to arrive early to explore the property. Newcomers Committee members will be at the picnic area to welcome family and friends beginning at 3:30 p.m. Activities for children will be available. Free chair massages will be provided by a representative from 121 Fitness Center.
If interested in attending, email Sarah Taylor, chair of the Newcomers Committee, at sxt284@case.edu or call 216.321.7465. If bringing children, please specify their ages.
Directions to the farm can be found at studentaffairs.case.edu/farm/about/location. The location of picnic area #6 can be seen at studentaffairs.case.edu/farm/facilities/picnic/.
