Facilities project begins Monday near binary walkway; slight pedestrian detour required

The Department of Facilities Services will begin a project Monday, Oct. 1, to replace existing steam piping that runs underground between Amasa Stone Chapel and Adelbert Hall. The project is scheduled to run for 10 weeks, with an anticipated end date of Dec. 7.

There will be a slight detour of pedestrian traffic Oct. 8–26. Just south of the binary walkway, pedestrians will be routed to the sidewalk south of Amasa Stone Chapel. The binary walkway will remain open. Directional signage will be placed at the construction site, indicating the detour.
