Students, faculty and staff are invited to a special presentation titled “Exploring Guatemala with Mandel School” by Victor Groza, the Grace F. Brody Professor of Parent-Child Studies at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
The talk is an opportunity to hear from former participants and faculty about the Mandel School’s three-credit study abroad course to Guatemala during spring break.
This session is intended to raise awareness about social work in Guatemala and study abroad opportunities with the Mandel School. Sponsors for the event include the LINK (Local InterNational Konnection) student group and International Education Programs at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
The presentation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Mandel School, Room 238.
Contact Victor Groza at vkg2@case.edu or Zoe Breen Wood at zbw@case.edu to learn more.
LINK (Local InterNational Konnection) is a Mandel School student organization that strives to facilitate a mutual understanding and sharing of information on cultural practices, philosophies and ideologies among those throughout the world who enact the values and practices of the social work profession.
