Members of the university community are invited to join Sears think[box] student technicians to make a free personalized desk organizer using laser cutters and woodshop. Never been to think[box] before? Don’t know where to start? This event is an opportunity to get familiar with the facilities available on Sears think[box]’s prototyping and fabrication floors.
During this two-hour session, attendees will be guided through the process of making a customizable desk organizer using machines on both floors. All materials will be provided by Sears think[box] and no prior knowledge is expected for this workshop. The Experience Sears think[box] event will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, from noon to 6 p.m.
