Exciting Economics Electives for Students of All Majors

The economics department is excited to announce several brand-new electives for Spring 2020, as well as a handful of electives returning after a long hiatus. These include Economics of Crime, Economics of Sports, Environmental Economics, and Economics of Organizations and Employment Relationships. In addition, longstanding favorites like Public Finance and Law and Economics will be offered once again.

These electives are open to students of all majors, and most have minimal or no prerequisites; they aim in part to connect economics to other disciplines, so many will feature case studies and/or guest presentations from professionals. Econ electives are on SIS now, with more being added shortly! Contact Professor Jenny Hawkins, jenny.hawkins@case.edu, with any questions about classes or registration.
