The Case Western Reserve community is invited to a lunchtime discussion with Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge David Matia about drug policy and prevalence Friday, Feb. 21, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in Sears Building 356. His talk, “How to Keep Your Fun Meter from Hitting Red,” is sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
Given the prevalence of drug use in Cleveland youth, new policies may be necessary to combat a relevant and evolving issue. Matia was the first to preside over the creation of Cuyahoga County’s drug court.
The lunchtime discussion is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to terri.mester@case.edu to reserve a spot.
