The Social Justice Institute and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women are community partners for “An Evening with Dr. Willie Parker,” Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Church of the Covenant.
Parker, a Christian reproductive justice advocate and an abortion provider in the South, will discuss and sign copies of his new book, Life’s Work: A Moral Argument for Choice.
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission, and are available online at bit.ly/WillieParker. Copies of his book will be available for purchase from Mac’s Backs.
