The Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences‘s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group will host its next meeting Thursday, Feb. 9, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in person in the fourth-floor conference room of the BioEnterprise Building, via Zoom.
The group will discuss articles relevant to diversity issues in population health research, how to include diverse perspectives in our research, and how to build new collaborations and networks together. This group is a safe space for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
The next meeting will focus on the topic of “Ethical Compensation for Participants in Research,” led by Renee Laux and Carlos Lewis-Miller.
The learning group meets the second Thursday of each month.
