Erika Trapl was named director of the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods, effective Feb. 1, succeeding Elaine A. Borawski, the founding director, whose vision led the Center in addressing chronic health issues faced in disadvantaged Greater Cleveland neighborhoods for more than 10 years.
Trapl is associate professor in the Department of Population & Quantitative Health Sciences and co-leader of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Cancer Prevention, Control & Population Research Program.
