Entrepreneurship scholar to discuss how an idea becomes an investable opportunity Dec. 5

Students are invited to a presentation by Colin Drummond, adjunct professor of accounting, finance and entrepreneurship, as he answers the question, “When is an idea an investable opportunity?” The event will take place Friday, Dec. 5, at 12:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356.

In his presentation, Drummond will discuss the three basic questions an investor needs to ask to differentiate between an idea for a material, device or procedure, and an investable opportunity that has a chance of surviving in the market.
