Ohioana Book Award winners include Cleveland Heights author Brad Ricca, Oberlin poet Kazim Ali
The Plain Dealer: Brad Ricca, lecturer in the Department of English, was named one of five winners of the Ohioana Book Award. The award is given to books and authors with roots or subjects in Ohio. His book, Super Boys: The Amazing Adventures of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster—the Creators of Superman, won the award in the nonfiction category. “It’s such a cool organization,” he said of the Ohioana Library Association.
