English lecturer Luke Reader examines anti-Semitism in the context of British politics

Luke Reader, a full-time lecturer in the Department of English, wrote an article titled “Opposing antisemitism is not about attacking Corbyn” for Progress Online.

In the piece, he explored the greater historical context of the British Labour party’s attitude toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in relation to the party’s current leader, Jeremy Corbyn. Reader specifically examined the political work and writings of Leonard Woolf in the first half of the 20th century.
