English department’s Macintyre Prize winner to lecture Dec. 2

Doctoral student Drew Banghart, winner of the 2011 Neil Macintyre Memorial Prize, will present his paper, “Dark Pools, Desperate Women and the Body in Adam Bede,” at the Macintyre Prize Lecture.

The lecture will be held Dec. 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Clark Hall 206. Refreshments will be served.

The Neil Macintyre Memorial Prize was first awarded in 1990 and recognizes the best scholarly essay written by an English department graduate student.
