Research may lead to improved treatment for brain cancer patients
WEWS: Researchers Pallavi Tiwari and Niha Beig of the Case School of Engineering and School of Medicine, along with partners at Cleveland Clinic, are using Artificial Intelligence paired with MRI scans and genomics to develop a new, more accurate way to determine both the relative life expectancy of glioblastoma patients and patients who could be candidates for experimental clinical drug trials.
