The American Physical Society’s Division of Polymer Physics selected Michael Hore, assistant professor in the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering, to give a guest lecture at the U.K. Polymer Physics Group meeting in September at Swansea University.
The group meets every other year to provide an opportunity for researchers from both academia and industry to discuss the latest innovation in the understanding of the physical behavior and manipulation of a wide range of polymer systems.
Hore was invited to speak as part of the UKPPG/DPOLY Polymer Lecture Exchange—a program established in 2009 to recognize research excellence and promise by polymer physicists just beginning their independent careers and designed to continue to strengthen the ties between the two organizations.
