Engineering’s Mario Garcia-Sanz has book published on robust control engineering

Mario García-Sanz, a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, had a new book published: Robust Control Engineering: Practical QFT Solutions. The book summarizes his last 25 years of research control theory as well as industrial and space applications.

The book was officially presented by publisher CRC-Press (Taylor & Francis) during the International Federation of Automatic Control World Congress in France in July. Since its debut, the book has garnered praise from the Applied Control Technology Consortium, the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and IEEE Control Systems Magazine.

At CWRU, García-Sanz also is director of the Control and Energy Systems Center and the inaugural Milton and Tamar Endowed Chair in Energy Innovation.
