WKYC: Huichun “Judy” Zhang, a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Case School of Engineering, discussed ways people can help to reverse course on climate change and be better stewards of the environment, even from a local standpoint. “A majority of the problem is coming from fertilizers from agricultural runoff,” she said, also noting microplastics. “We use plastics in our daily lives and they are non-degradable. So they will be accumulating in fish bodies, and eventually they will end up in human bodies.”
