Engineering’s Grant Goodrich discusses proposal to strengthen infrastructure in Northeast Ohio

Proposed Great Lakes Authority could strengthen region’s infrastructure efforts

Crain’s Cleveland Business (subscription required): Grant Goodrich, executive director of the Great Lakes Energy Institute, discussed a proposal that could clear the way for Northeast Ohio and the other Great Lakes regions to compete for one of the four Hydrogen Hub projects proposed in the federal infrastructure bill. Those “regional clean hydrogen hubs,” Goodrich said, are part of a commitment by the Department of Energy to help utilities produce, sell and store hydrogen as part of a buildout of a national clean-hydrogen network.
