Cleveland port’s ‘electrification hub’ expected to anchor progress toward net-zero emissions

Energy News NetworkGrant Goodrich, executive director of the university’s Great Lakes Energy Institute, discussed an electrical infrastructure upgrade among the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority’s first steps toward achieving net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions. “Getting products in and out of Europe and being able to advertise and market that you can do it in a more emissions-friendly manner gives you a competitive advantage,” Goodrich said.
